More than a treatment clinic
Meridian Massage & Bodywork was built on a simple belief: people deserve more than temporary relief. Today everything we do is built around one clear journey, Assessment, Recovery, Resilience, Performance.

Helping people recover, build resilience and stay active long-term
Not through a one-size-fits-all approach, but through personalised assessment, hands-on treatment, bodywork, rehabilitation, education and progression. We believe healthcare should help people:
- Feel better
- Move better
- Build confidence
- Become stronger
- Stay active for longer
A clear path forward
Most treatment models stop at pain relief. We don’t. The Method gives every patient a structured journey through four stages.
Assessment
We take time to understand the person, not just the symptoms. Your goals, lifestyle, history, challenges and what may be contributing to the problem.
Recovery
We help reduce pain, calm symptoms and restore movement. Massage, bodywork, soft tissue therapy, adjustment techniques, movement work and other appropriate approaches.
Resilience
Once symptoms improve, we help build the strength, confidence and resilience needed to maintain those changes. This is often the missing step for people whose pain keeps returning.
Performance
For those who want to stay active, train, move confidently or maintain long-term health, Performance focuses on continued support, progression and optimisation.

Chris Arscott, founder & clinical lead
Chris qualified in 2003 and has spent over two decades developing the clinical philosophy that underpins the Meridian Method. From a young age he was drawn to traditional healing systems and hands-on bodywork.
That curiosity led him across South East Asia and then to Northern Thailand, where he lived and worked for around 15 years. Traditional Thai Massage at the prestigious TMC School, Osteo-Thai, Tok Sen, spinal adjustment and a wide range of traditional bodywork systems, alongside extensive work with athletes, fighters and post-operative recovery clients.
Back in the UK since 2019, Chris brings Eastern and Western bodywork, manual therapy and movement, treatment and rehabilitation, recovery and long-term resilience into a single coherent practice.
To help people achieve lasting results rather than becoming dependent on repeated treatment.

Natasha Slater, senior therapist
Natasha is an experienced therapist with over a decade of experience in Massage Therapy and Bodywork. She trained at the London School of Sports Massage and further developed her skills through Osteopathic Manual Therapy, spinal manipulation, lymphatic drainage and post-operative rehabilitation.
Natasha has worked across care homes, hospitals, gyms and women’s health environments. As a cancer survivor herself, she brings a depth of personal understanding to recovery that shapes everything she does, her patients feel heard, supported and understood from the very first session.
Natasha has particular experience supporting people with:
- Sports massage
- Remedial therapy
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Lymphatic drainage
- Movement confidence
- Chronic pain
- Active lifestyles
- Women’s health and recovery
Outside the clinic, Natasha is also a competitive dancer, which gives her a strong appreciation for movement, performance and the demands of staying active.
Recognised at local and national levels
Chris and Meridian have received multiple awards, including regional Massage Therapist of the Year recognition and national Best of the Best awards within the health, beauty and fitness industry.
Awards aren’t the real goal, helping people return to the activities, sports, hobbies and everyday moments that matter most to them is.
