The tools we use within the journey
Treatments are tools within the Meridian Method, not the main offer. The page below sets out the four areas of treatment and technology you may encounter through Recovery, Resilience and Performance. Each is prescribed in service of a plan, never in isolation.
Book Initial Assessment

Bodywork + Adjustment
Hands-on therapy, structured around your plan.
Soft tissue work, joint mobilisation and adjustment techniques combined within a single appointment. Used throughout the Recovery and Resilience phases, clinical, evidence-led and integrated with the wider Meridian Method rather than offered in isolation.
- Postural examination & myoskeletal alignment
- Clinical soft tissue therapy & IASTM
- Joint mobilisation and adjustment where appropriate
- Dry needling, hammer therapy and myofascial release

Massage Therapy
Clinical, evidence-led, never just relaxation.
Sports and deep tissue, Thai lineage bodywork, lymphatic drainage, cupping and more, applied within the structure of the Meridian Method. Treatments are tools within the journey, prescribed in service of recovery and resilience rather than as a standalone service.
- Sports & deep tissue, for active living and athletic recovery
- Thai bodywork, studied first-hand in Northern Thailand
- Lymphatic drainage, pre- and post-operative care
- Cupping, gua sha and traditional supportive techniques

Physiokinetix
Restorative movement, built on alignment.
Physiokinetix Training (PKT) is the culmination of over 20 years of research by Paul Kelly, combining restorative and functional techniques to improve skeletal alignment, balance and the neuromuscular communication between brain and body. It is the corrective exercise pathway we use inside the Resilience phase, personalised to your assessment and reassessed regularly.
- Restorative movement built on alignment
- Progressive levels, from Mobility to Performance
- Suitable for older adults through to athletes
- Reassessments via the MoveHealth app

Muscle Sculpt
Ultra Tesla HI-EMT, supramaximal muscle activation.
High-intensity electromagnetic technology used selectively to support strength, post-surgical recovery and targeted muscle re-education. Always alongside hands-on treatment and movement work, not as a standalone shortcut.
- Thousands of contractions per session
- Useful for glute and core re-activation
- Post-operative support where clinically appropriate
- Assessed for suitability during the Initial Assessment
Every technique we draw on
These are the hands-on techniques and traditions we prescribe within a plan. We choose the right combination for your assessment, never a one-size-fits-all menu.
Manipulations & adjustments
- Osteopathic influenced techniques. Articulation and manipulation of bones, muscles and joints to address structural abnormalities and dysfunctions.
- Chiropractic influenced techniques. A tonal approach, hands (and sometimes tools) used to correct alignment problems, improve neural function and joint mobility. Note: We are not GCC registered.
- Advanced Meridian Bodywork. Posture/body reading, myoskeletal alignment, clinical soft tissue techniques, combined with full body adjustments as needed.
Clinical soft tissue
- Clinical soft tissue therapy. Assess, treat and reassess for musculoskeletal pain, including injury assessment, advanced techniques and remedial exercise.
- Sports massage. For muscular tension or repetitive-use injury, using deep pressure and trigger-point release.
- Deep tissue massage. Firmer pressure for chronic muscle problems, soreness, and pulled or tight muscles.
- IASTM. Instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation using ergonomic tools (including Graston) to detect and treat myofascial restrictions.
Massage & bodywork
- Thai massage. Traditional and ancient Thai techniques combining assisted stretching and acupressure.
- Swedish massage. Long, flowing strokes to fully relax and relieve muscular tension.
- Lymphatic drainage. Slow, precise, light strokes and pumping motions to support fluid movement and the immune system.
- Reflexology foot massage. A fusion of ancient Chinese and Thai techniques using pressure-point stimulation on the feet or hands.
- Aromatherapy massage. Gentle, Swedish-style pressure combined with the use of essential oils.
- Head & face massage. Gentle thumb pressure applied intricately to the face and head.
Needling & traditional techniques
- Dry needling. A Western, scientific approach using needles for neuromuscular stimulation.
- Traditional Chinese acupuncture. Meridian-based treatment following the principles of Chinese medicine.
- Dry cupping therapy. A vacuum lifts the soft tissue to create decompression within the muscle.
- Gua sha. The body surface is stroked with a smooth-edged instrument to raise therapeutic petechiae.
- Hammer therapy (Tok Sen). Adapted from Thai Tok Sen, using mechanical tools and sound vibration to work deeply through fascia, muscle and bone.
- Wood therapy. Specially designed wooden tools for body contouring and lymphatic activation.
Not sure which is right for you? You don’t need to choose. Your Initial Assessment is where we work that out together.
